Emergency Travel Benefits Limit
Emergency Medical Evacuation Imagine being in a remote area and tragedy strikes. You could quite possibly find yourself at a local medical facility that does not have the medically-necessary treatment to save your life or limb. That’s why Atlas Group offers up to $1,000,000 to cover eligible costs associated with your covered emergency evacuation to the nearest qualified hospital.
Political Evacuation If the U.S. government issues a level 3 or level 4 travel advisory for your destination country after you have departed for your trip, Atlas Group will cover eligible costs of transporting you to the nearest country of safety or back home. Plus, our World Service Center will help coordinate your new departure arrangements.
Natural Disaster – Replacement Accommodations If you are evacuated from paid accommodations due to a covered, forecasted natural disaster or following a covered natural disaster strike, you will receive up to $250 a day for up to 5 days to pay for replacement accommodations.
Trip Interruption Under certain covered scenarios (like the unexpected death of an immediate family member), this benefit will cover the cost of a one-way plane ticket to return you to your home country.
Travel Delay If a covered, 12-hour delay requires an unplanned overnight stay, Atlas Group offers up to $100 a day (for up to 2 days) for accommodations.
Lost Checked Luggage

If the airline loses your luggage and it’s missing for 10+ days, this benefit can provide up to $1,000 in reimbursement for the replacement of clothes and personal hygiene items (not to exceed $50 on any one item).

Lost or Stolen Passport/Travel Visa

If your passport or travel visa is lost or stolen, this benefit can provide up to $100 in reimbursement for its replacement.

Bedside Visit

If you are confined to a hospital intensive care unit following a covered, life-threatening bodily injury or illness, you will receive up to $1,500 for the cost of a round-trip ticket for one relative to the terminal serving the area where you are hospitalized.

Crisis Response

Atlas Group offers up to $10,000 in coverage to offset ransom, personal belongings surrendered during a kidnapping, and Crisis Response fees, as well as access to experts to coordinate with law enforcement and manage/execute negotiations during a covered kidnapping.

Personal Liability

Atlas Group offers up to $25,000 for expenses associated with a third-party injury or the damage/loss of third-party personal property. This benefit applies only to court-entered eligible judgments or approved settlements.

*The acute onset of a pre-existing condition is a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a pre-existing condition which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning, either in the form of physician recommendations or symptoms. Treatment must be obtained within 24 hours of the sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence. Chronic and congenital conditions, complications or consequences of a chronic or congenital condition, or conditions that gradually worsen over time are excluded from coverage.

Travel Assistance Services Are Included with Atlas Group
